BetLedger ("we", "us", "our") is a matched betting tracking tool operated from the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and profile image (provided via Google OAuth or email sign-in).
  • Usage data: bookmaker names, balances, profit entries, offers, and daily game progress you voluntarily enter into the dashboard.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically via Vercel Analytics.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and maintain the BetLedger dashboard service.
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. magic link sign-in).
  • To improve the service and fix bugs.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Google OAuth — authentication (Google Privacy Policy applies).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery for magic links.
  • Neon (PostgreSQL) — database hosting (data stored in AWS US-East-1).
  • Vercel — application hosting and analytics.
  • Upstash — rate limiting (stores anonymised request counters only).

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the dashboard settings. Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure session management, input validation, rate limiting, and database-level access controls. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and data (right to erasure).
  • Export a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability).
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
